I saw two deer on my walk today - right by a neighborhood fountain! So far there have been lizards, a 4ft snake, jackrabbits, turkeys and all types of small birds on this route!

A little sneak peak! Still a lot left to do but this gives a good idea of size and colors.

I need to remember to take these pictures before it gets dark out...so gloomy looking! At least there is rain in the forecast.

Finished...shipped...recieved...LOVED!

I finished this capelet a little while ago and finally got my act together and got it shipped off to my niece.

It has been received and I'm told she loves it!

Little Crochet: Modern Designs for Babies and Toddlers by Linda Permann.
It is worked in Patons Lace Sequin in Amethyst

6/365

So far I'm 6 for 6 in daily pictures and posts.  It it a bit more difficult than I thought it would be.  In day-to-day life, not everything seems worth taking a picture of.  I guess this personal project has sort of changed my perspective!

This above shot belongs to dinner making.  A great one-dish meal

Italian Sausage and Spinach Pasta

Italian Sausage (about a lb)
1 onion
1 lb pasta (I prefer the little shells but you can use whatever you like)
4 tsp chicken bullion
5 or more cups of water
a few generous handfuls of fresh spinach (you can use 1-2 bags found in the salad section)
handful of Parmesan Cheese
pepper or red pepper flakes to taste

Brown the sausage, drain
In the same pan, saute the onion until it's soft
Add the sausage back into the pan
Add the water
Add the pasta
Cook, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked.  Add more water if the pasta begins to stick or still seems too al dente.
Fold the spinach in, a small handful at a time, adding more once the first batch has wilted.
Stir in the parmesan
Serve!
